How project information is collected, used, and protected at the studio.
When you begin a renovation project with the studio, we collect property details, existing-condition photographs, site measurements, design preferences, material selections, and renovation requirements you share through consultation forms and on-site visits. This information forms the foundation of your project brief and guides every subsequent design decision.
Your renovation project details are used to prepare design proposals, develop construction documents, coordinate with subcontractors, source materials, and manage the build process from demolition through final walkthrough. Documentation is also used to support warranty claims, future maintenance guidance, and post-project correspondence regarding installed work.
Photographs, measurements, structural observations, and condition reports gathered during initial site walks and construction-phase visits remain confidential project records. They are used solely for planning your renovation, documenting existing conditions, and supporting construction decisions — never shared with third parties for marketing or unrelated purposes.
Custom design concepts, spatial plans, material palettes, joinery details, and finish schedules developed for your renovation are treated as confidential intellectual property. They are not shared with other clients, repurposed for unrelated projects, or published without your written consent. Each design is developed specifically for your site, brief, and household.
Completed renovation photographs may appear in the studio's print portfolio and online showcase only with your written permission. Personal details such as names, room layouts identifying your address, or distinctive personal possessions are omitted or generalized unless you explicitly approve their inclusion. You may withdraw portfolio consent at any time.
Necessary project information — site address, access windows, scope of work, drawings, and specifications — is shared with subcontractors, trade partners, and material suppliers solely to execute your renovation. All trade partners operate under appropriate confidentiality expectations and are instructed not to photograph or publish your project without studio approval.
Material selections, custom specifications, vendor pricing, and supplier details gathered during your renovation are retained in your project file. This documentation supports future warranty claims, replacement orders for damaged finishes, and ongoing care guidance. Vendor pricing remains confidential to the studio and is not disclosed to competing clients.
You control how and when the studio reaches out. Newsletter preferences, project update frequency, and the channels used for daily construction communication are adjustable at any time. Renovation project updates are sent only to contacts you designate and contain only information relevant to your active project scope.
Technical and organizational safeguards protect project files, design drawings, contract documents, and personal details from unauthorized access during and after your renovation. Drawing files are stored in access-controlled project folders, communication platforms are encrypted, and physical samples are kept in studio storage accessible only to assigned project staff.
Project records — including drawings, contracts, change orders, photographs, warranties, and correspondence — are retained for the duration of applicable warranty coverage and the relevant statute of limitations on construction work. After this period, paper records are shredded and digital files are securely destroyed unless you request a complete file transfer.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your project information at any time by contacting the studio. Project files in active construction phases cannot be partially deleted without affecting build continuity, but completed projects can be archived or transferred to you in full on request. Reasonable requests are honored promptly.
This policy may be revised as renovation practices, materials, and client needs evolve. Material changes affecting how project information is collected, used, or retained will be reflected on this page with an updated reference date. Clients with active projects are notified directly of any changes affecting their records.
